there stands me.

I stand out like a wildflower,

a wild flower that never got taught to grow.

Never taught to thrive,

or survive.

So every night,

I decide to hide.

Hide from the cruel,

This cruel world that no one wants to be in.

In a world full of roses,

I want to be a unknown flower.

I want to sprout,

and without a doubt people won't recognize me.

Sprout into something that's unknown,

forbidden.

In a world full of roses,

I'll forever be a wildflower.

Not too bright,

not to fancy.

But once you catch a glance of my petals and bright colors,

You'll never forget me once you see me.
