It can be such a burden to hold a memory ,let alone a thousand

But this is my fate I’m afraid and I’m left astounded

I wish I could share all the joyous ones with you

And show you had it been just us two

Unfortunately these memories are only mine to see

I’m so very sorry I took them all with me

However the burden of these memories are just too much to bare

I just wish there was someone who would understand and care

The burden of memory is one I shall hold so dear

It’s Something I know I may lose someday I fear
