She Was A Moment

I Met you once, LIKE a fleeting spark,

In a world so big,

You left your mark,

A glance,

A smile,

A moment so sweet,

I never thought it’d end at my feet.

You spoke so softly, a gentle breeze,

With every word,

My heart felt at peace,

But like the tide that pulls away,

You drifted,

Leaving me with just the gray.

Your laughter, still echos in my mind,

A melody I’ll never leave behind,

But silence followed, and then the night,

A goodbye without a reason, out of sight,

Yet I chase the reason like I have no will to live for,

You are like a moon,

So beautiful and fragile,

Shinning so bright,

Being one of a kind,

Yet you’ll forever remain out of reach.
