Dear Diary,

I had this weird ringing in my ears today, my friend said it’s probably tinnitus and will go away on its own.

Dear Diary,

I went to the doctor and they referred me to a ear specialist to take a closer look at my ears, I asked if it was a wax buildup and they said it didn’t seem to be, I’m not too stressed about it, I know it will go away.

Dear Diary,

The ear specialist told me I have a high chance of going deaf in both of my ears, I said it’s only affecting one ear and they said it’ll likely effect both in time.

Dear Diary,

The ear specialist was right today I started getting a ringing in my other ear and the first ear now is all muffled and I can barely hear anything.

Dear Diary,

I can’t even hear the TV anymore and when I put my earphones in it’s like a dull hum, I don’t like this feeling at all.

Dear Diary,

Today it happens I’m officially deaf in both my ears, they’ve ordered me some hearing aids which I’m excited about, I just want to hear again.

Dear Diary,

I love my new hearing aids! I’ve jazzed them up and everything, I think I look really cool. They are my friends now because they help me to hear.
