I never thought of myself as brave. I can’t even go to the dentist without taking a nerve pill. Now I have to face a danger I’m not equipped to handle. Perhaps I can ease into this—incapacitate them long enough to get away. Even as I ponder the idea, I’m already berating myself for thinking it. Unfortunately, I don’t have the luxury of time to come up with a better plan. I have to act quickly. I just hope I can keep up with the pace. Alright, I have the plan—now I just need to solidify it with the others.
