“Clouds cover the skies, rain pulls at your eyes,

but nothing hurts as much as little words turned lies'

Sea of Betrayal

In the Sea of Betrayal, I saw the sky become cloudy like my judgement had been when I befriended him.

In the Sea of Betrayal, I heard the waves crashing against my small boat, threatening to destroy it much like how my anger and sorrow threatend to destory me.

In the Sea of Betrayal, I felt the rain drops fill my eyes, merging with the thousands of tears that already resided there.

In the Sea of Betrayal, I smelt the air turn sour as the gods prepared to strike me down, ending my misery.

In the Sea of Betrayal, I tasted my blood coat my tongue, it's metallic flavour reminding me of his blade
