In the golden night, the leaves of the dark blooming flower curl outward. It collects light only from the farthest reaching stars. Red dwarfs, ready to go supernova, feed it. It sucks the life from them, creating the golden night on the planet so cherished by it’s inhabitants. It’s world is bright and vital, while the universe dies around it.
