Water is forever a changing thing,

Its flow never ending and constant.

Its scent wafts through the air

And fills your senses.

The water you drink and bathe in,

Was used by at least three others.

The cycle causing this,

As it remembers.

We take it for granted

The luck we have

That we have what we have

And it’s not a dream.

Although it’s strong,

And although it’s rough,

The life it gives us,

“There will never be enough!”

We humans are greedy

And take everything

But within our hearts,

We harbor a guilt.
