Have the governments there started phone curfews yet? I remember learning about this in our grade 13 modules. Our learning pods transferred the images of what you’ll face soon. I wonder if I’m changing your future, or even mine, by telling you this. Well, hey, if it’s any consolation, you won’t really need a handheld “phone” anymore.

The world changed for the better, I think. The extra terrestrial beings that your world government hid for so long, turns out, was on the dark side of the moon the entire time! You’d think that humanity would have reacted calmly. Sadly not. When news first broke out, several powerful nations threatened each other to not ally themselves with the “aliens.”

This led to the 3rd world war, that lasted almost 20 years. Everything you love, your career you worked so hard for, the material items you hold so dear, cast them aside, for your own sake. There’s record of the aliens who only helped those humans who were able to let go of the “life” they had created for themselves. They killed the humans who refused to advance in society. So many died.

I know this sounds bleak, but you deserve to know. I once read a journal entry archives of a person in 2004 who planned to grow old rich and happy. If they only knew.

Just remember Jae, life really is that short. Never take it for granted. Humanity’s past mistakes always come to haunt them at night. If you plan to survive, detach from everything you know and love, because it’s all going to change soon.
