Kelly had worn the same outfit, a pale seafoam green t-shirt over a long-sleeved black and white striped shirt and a pair of black leggings, for at least a month. It’s not that she was lazy, didn’t have other clothes, or any way to wash them. She just liked it that way. And all the girls who thought their shit didn’t stink liked her. They liked her charisma, and how she showcased a part of them they wished they could nourish. They wanted to worm their way in and try to take care of her.
