Is how conversations would be

When I was little

what I didn’t know

Was that life’s unfair

And we learn to let go

Used to not know anything

What depression,stress heartbreak is .

How life could stab,hurt and sting

Was Wonderstruck in a cheerful bliss

Traitors,haters narcissists

Scratch my head and ask “who?”

Proudly made a life list

Which I Never had the chance to do

Never thought I had to leave

Everything I loved and cared

When you grow up you see

There’s no point of being scared

When your little you trusted more

Was careless and had no doubt

But now you learn to forgive more

And stop fighting the fight you fought

I used to cry with a friend

But now I cry alone

Reasons I used to forget

Now the reasons carved on my bones

Used to talk about everything

To everyone I know

Used be able to dance and sing

But now those doors are closed

“Your still young” they say

Yes I realise everyday

But growing up is when you know

That life isn’t always sunshine and rainbows

So dear past self

I got some things to say

No matter how horrible every day is

Just forget it ok?

let the pages turn

Let the briges burn

Everything you lose

Is a step you take

So make the friendship bracelets

Take the moment and taste it

You got no reason to be afraid

Your on your own kid and you always have been
