There is a place I love the most

My country house in Madagascar

It was the place of reunions, children's games

greed, the simplicity of life

night fears that dissipate at the first crowing of the rooster

moments of boredom that seem endless

walks on the rice fields at sunrise

The place follows me in my dreams

When my soul needs a place to find itself

because it contains all happiness.

That I never got back

now that I’ve grown up.
