Tossing and turning,

Unable to sleep,

Painful inner voices

Mocking on repeat.

I’m going insane,

I’m no longer sane,

All the people inside me

Won’t leave me be.

Blankets in a bunch,

Pillows thrown aside,

My bed is a mess,

I’m a mess inside.

This is gonna be

A very long night,

The worlds inside me,

Battling a horrid fight.

Tossing and turning,

Twitching in a craze,

Fog and clouds in my mind,

Stuck in a haze.

One long night

Leads to another,

Soon enough, I’ll be insane,

And you’ll all run for cover.

The clock’s slow ticking

Pushes me closer to the cliff’s edge,

You know what else is ticking?

The time bomb that is me.
