“Well I didn’t ask you to try and please me, did I!”
“You didn’t have to!” She began pacing back and forth. “I know you try and hide it, but face the fucking facts. You didn’t like me for me. You manipulated me. I changed everything for you. Everything. You didn’t like my hobbies, so I changed them. I dropped friends because you made me think they were the problem. I turned down my dream college for gods sake, and all for you! Our whole relationship, I’ve done nothing for me! It’s always been about how nothing i do is good enough for you. I’ve tri-“ She clenched her fists with eyes rigidly pointed towards the ground. “I’ve tried so hard
but…I’m never going to be good enough for you, am I? not good enough to be the girl in your head anyways.” Tears began to well in her eyes.

“Well, don’t you have anything to say ‘Mr. I’m so perfect’ ??” His eyes darted from the chair across the room to the girl standing in front of him, silently sobbing. Then, he simply shrugged his shoulders.
“What do you want me to say?”
“Are you fucking serious? Do you just not care anymore?”
“Well sorry I can’t apologize for something im not sorry for. It’s not like i asked you to do all this.”
“Oh really? Then which boyfriend was it who came to me begging on his knees not to go to my dream school because his only pathetic plans for life were to live off of his parents’ money?”
“I’m sorry ok?? Geez why do you have to be such a pain? There, I said sorry. I’m sorry I suck and am such a horrible person.”
“Wow. you know what, I deserve so much better than this. I want my life back. You and me, we’re done. Get out.”
“Hold on now-“ his eyes went wide and he stepped closer to caress her cheek. She abruptly stepped back, slapping his hand away.
“Get. The fuck. Out. I won’t tell you again” Wiping her tears, she opened the front door and gestured outside.
“Two years of this and for what? For it to end over a silly fight? Come on, let’s talk about this.” She continued to gesture to the door. after a minute, he walked out.
“I’ll call you later so we can talk about this, ok?” She slammed the door in his face.
