I thought about writing a letter

But something just didn’t feel right -

When I phished it out of my mind

And attempted to put it on paper..

So I figured, it wasn’t my true own thing

And I must be good doing something other

Than working with letters and concepts

And all.. I thought.. maybe running a poll?

It shouldn’t be difficult, ain’t it?

Just drop ‘em in numbers and see -

What they say. How tough could it be?

But a couple of polls through -

I noticed it didn’t go as well as I may

Have pictured it in my mind. The truth is

There has to be something else, right?

Something I’m good at - should be easy to find.

Shall I be a doctor? I can’t stand the blood.

Shall I be a pilot? Brave at a hight I was not.

A teacher? Kids are quite frightening.

A cook? Who am I kidding - look at my fridge.

But know not how to cross it from here.

Oh, so it’s been starting at me all along.

Obstacle mounting would be the right thing.
