‘If only this world had shown me a little bit more mercy, you wouldn't be in this position’, Alex loomed over the intruder, he was unconscious but bound with rope to a sturdy wooden chair, legs to its feet and his arms to the rests.

They were in her kitchen, it had been a long day, she had not fed and her bloodlust was through the roof, Alex had found him breaking into her new home, she let him test the security system to the point where she had waived the attempts of help from the security provider.

From her driveway she watched via house cameras scour the house for whatever he had broken in for, she was cross because there were plenty of high priced goods that she thought were worth stealing, but apparently not and this made her even more angry.

So she silently made her way in, heard the front door softly click shut as she closed it behind her. But loud enough to get the attention of the intruder, who leapt down the stairs with a handgun, let off a few rounds, some hit, one in her chest and the other into her shoulder, they passed through and embedded themselves in the door and its frame.

Alex bore her teeth and strode slowly towards him, taking bullet after bullet until she was then toe to toe and headbutts him, he fell backwards with a heavy thunk onto the carpet.
