“Well um I reckon this is the thing that’s been killing your chickens.” The exterminator said casually holding a 5 foot long four legged scale creature.

“But Mr what is it?!?” The frightened new mother asked.

“Ummm well mam I’m gonna level with you….ive been doing pest control for farms in this area for 35 years and I ain’t never run across nothin like this…it’s got the body of dog and the scales of a snake but the beak of a large bird…it um must have ate something off and gone rabid,” the exterminator shrugged his shoulders.

The young mom knew she had killed those chickens though. And she knew from the second she saw this beast holding her infant by the nape of the neck in the middle of the night, that this was only the beginning…
