WRITING OBSTACLE
How would you describe silence?
Think about which senses you can use to describe the sound, and feeling, of silence.
Silence
The sound of silence is deafening. It’s the void of all any any noise, but you can hear how it feels inside of you. If you had to make a sound - to mimic silence - it would be the slight hum of electricity running through my body. The sound of me swallowing - opening my ears. I can feel the silence in the stillness of grass, the way the breeze tickles the back of my neck. I can smell the earth and the skin on my body, I can smell flowers and dirt. I can smell the water down by the creek and I can feel the silence inside of me. Silence is an unknown wonder that brings comfort to my insides. It is what makes me man, and human, and alive all in one.
