Quaffed the Raven, “Nevermore.”

But as if flew over city shore

It’s eyes soon began to explore

The silken terrain of its new lore

The lies of with of spoke are shore

When Heaven falls its wings will floor

And all who lie their dead, no more

For God favors those who endure

The Raven sees all pain and is sure

That as it falls it will be no more

For the arrow that pierced its wing is not a cure

But truth and pain for it to bore

And as the Raven fell to the shore

It looked up at the sky and soar

But only in its dreams for sure
