Get out of my house!
Write a confrontational scene which begins with this.
the feeling of betrayal
“get out of my house!“ she yelled, throwing the glass cup at the wall beside him. the look in her eyes couldn’t explain in words what she had felt.
she felt gutted; used. the man she once loved, turned into a stranger as he looked back at her with heavy eyes.
the stench of alcohol consumed him, and his knees felt weak as he watched the glass she threw shatter against the drywall.
“i said, get out!” tears streamed down her reddened cheeks. his footsteps stammered backwards, and the blades of his shoulders hit the wall behind him.
he blew air from his nose, scrunching up his face in order to keep control of his drunken anger.
“you-” he pointed a crooked finger at her, and his lips turned up into a straight line. “you fuckin’ bitch,”
he tried to turn quickly, but his knees collided and he fell directly to the floor.
his cheeks turned red in embarrassment, and his palms dug into the wood, scooting himself away from the standing woman.
shards of broken glass cut into his palms, but he was too out of his mind to notice the blood trickling from his hands.
“i’ll be back,” he hiccuped, “j-just fuckin’ watch.”
he felt dizzy, swiftly getting up from the dirty floor and tripping his way out of the front door.
the door slammed and rocked the house, just as sobs erupted from her dry throat. her eyes clamped shut as she held onto her stomach.
she had never felt so betrayed.
