POEM STARTER
Write an elegy with an atmosphere of hope.
An elegy is a poem written about someone’s death, usually to grieve or appreciate them. Make this elegy have a hopeful, positive tone.
too soon
as i sit in my room i feel like your still there but your not, your really gone. like ill never ever see you again, death is one thing that doesn't make sense. it feels like life is almost so long that when death comes upon us it's almost a good thing. expect to the people that love you. i hope death doesn't come to fast like it came after you too soon but not fast enough at the same time. you were in pain and didn't want to suffer anymore. you were waiting for it to capture you swiftly and take you to heaven. to live and be free. so if this grief and pain is what i have to suffer to make you happy i'll take it. i hope death doesn't come too soon.
