I woke up. Pockets check, shirt, check. Face, beard. What? A beard.

I opened my eyes it’s blurry.

Knock on the door. “Good morning Karl you need to be ready in half an hour for your speech”

“Speech?”

“Yes sir speech”

Footsteps faded away.

Speech? What speech I don’t know anything about speeches. I quickly shuffled my hand around on my side table and felt glasses and put them on.

Ah. I can see now.

This isn’t my body I must be someone else today. I looked around the room in search for clues. Newspapers, a diary, social studies, journals. Todays date ahh there, it says ‘meaning of life’ that must be what I’m talking about today.

I slipped on my Oxford shoes and opened the door. Then all of a sudden I was on stage.

“Good afternoon all, I’m here to tell you the meaning of

life”

thousands of eyes looked at me.

“See the meaning of life is to not fall victim to the vicious cycle of capitalism, value your worth, love always with good intention, heal yourself with as much time as you need, don’t limit yourself to others expectations. Life is about living, finding what it can mean for you can only be achieved by yourself your meaning may not be the same as anyone else’s. Materialism is not the meaning of life. Live and see the world. Believe in hopes and dreams”
