Waking in a world where everything seems backwards is perplexing,

The feelings of loss and confusion collecting

In a world where disillusion is flexing.

And we’re all neglecting the world erecting.

I question how we got here

But it’s never been very clear.

Perhaps it’s our rejection of self reflection

Or our greed that we feed.

It’s time to look at the world we bleed,

Reach out to those in need,

Stand up to those who mislead.
