An Actor’s Reality
A touch of breath released in the air,
Eyes opened wide attentively,
Listening to the words spoken analyzing every layer,
Every line entered my heart gently.
Using my memories to embrace the feeling,
I let go of my thoughts of the outside world,
This is your therapy so let it be healing,
Your time to be your birth stone and embrace your pearl.
Because everyone wants to be a diamond in the rough,
But a pearl is one of a kind,
So let down those tears and quit trying to be tough,
You’ll see diamonds are great but pearls are hard to find.
One more inhale and there it was,
I was finally able to make myself a deal,
I will never doubt myself and embrace my flaws,
It was all becoming real.
