STORY STARTER

The cookie jar at your grandma’s house has gone missing. No one else in the family is concerned, except for you, because you know the truth about what was inside…

Alley Of Villains

I scan the shiny marble countertop for any clues. Nothing was there, not even a crumb. After hearing the news from my grandma I had a mental breakdown. That's because I know what's _really_ inside. I heard a gunshot right out my window. I look outside, the dark colors of the alley clashing with my grandma's yellow house. For a split second, I saw a girl, blending in with the shadows. She had a… jar. My grandma's jar. The girl quickly ran into an abandoned building. Plastered on a wanted poster was _Shade_. _Well, shade, you're not getting my grandma's cookies today_, I thought angrily. So I ran out of my house to the dark alley.

Then a girl with the most beautiful face I'd ever seen, put a gun to my forehead. “Don’t worry girl, these bullets won't hurt you. They were made from the soil of hell and clouds of heaven. I'm here to get re- help you,” the girl sounded regal, like a queen. “What do you mean by that?” I asked her. “That means help you get your precious _glowstonel_ back.” the girl looks at her nails. “But of course, you may be scared of my face. Pull the skin.” “What?” the thought of pulling someones skin off gave her the chills. But she did. Underneath the beautiful face was a girl whose face seemed cracked. “It is, it's a _very_ long story. Probably would take an entire novel.” My heart was beating as fast as a racecar. The face scared me so much I didn't hear a scream from the abandoned building. “Can you really get my glowy stone things back?” I asked the girl staring into her innocent brown eyes. “I and them,” she opened her arms in a hugging gesture and spun around slowly. “Who?” She looked at me with a crazy look. “My _Shades_.”
