WRITING OBSTACLE

A child is trying to explain something to their parent who cannot understand what they mean.

You don't have to write from the child's perspective, but try to consider the amusing and confusing elements of children's speech which drive the interaction.

LBGT

From a young age I’ve always know that I was different I knew I wasn’t like everyone else whole most boys wanted to play with toy cars, or legos or dinosaurs I wanted to play dress up and play with Barbie’s I guess right there should’ve been my mom’s sign that I am apart of the LGBT community but she didn’t really seem to understand I liked what I liked and I knew that I explained to her that I didn’t wanna play with things most boys wanted to play with I explained that I like dolls and dress in today’s world and society people associate certain things with certain genders like dress up and dolls are for boys and cars, and dinosaurs and trains for for boys I explained to my mom that being girly playing with girly things and painting my nails whatever it may be makes me happy it took my mom awhile and eventually she understood she knew she assumed from the second I played with my first doll put on my frist dress that I am apart of the LGBT community and I guess slef consuiously I did too.
