Write a series of diary entries from the point of view of someone hiding, evading capture.
They can be hiding for whatever reason you like, but think about why they are writing in a diary and who they might hope will find it.

September 29, 1978
Dear Diary,
They came today, I wish they hadnβt; they scare me so much. You are the only one I can talk to, everyone else thinks Iβm crazy, but you donβt judge me! I can hear them now, the screeching calls they make to eachother and the creaking of their stiff bones moving about. Iβm hiding now, I hope they donβt find me, at least theyβre not very smart, lol. I wish I had someone to protect me, but people avoid me because they have heard about everyone who has gotten close to me and how they have always disappeared. I think theyβre leaving now diary, thank you for being here with me!
October 1, 1978
Dear Diary,
Theyβre back. They came while I was eating the last of my stale bread supply, currently Iβm hiding in my closet. I can hear them shuffling about, I can see them through the slots in the door. I see their bones sticking grotesquely out of their body. I see the dark thick liquid that oozes out of every blemish. They are so ugly and they smell putrid like a rotting fish. They are searching for me, but they canβt find me. I hope it stays that way, I just wish they would leave.
October 11, 1978
Dear Diary,
They havenβt come back for quite sometime now, I hope they never do, but my wishes will never become a reality Iβm sureβ¦
October 13, 1978
Dear Diary,
They came tonight, they found me. They are taking me somewhere, I donβt know where. They injected me with some odd green fluid and my body is starting to deteriorate at a rapid pace. Iβm really scared, what if I die! Or what if I turn into one of them, I wish you could help me.
October 30,1978
Dear Diary,
Iβm dying. Iβm leaving you outside the large warehouse on the corner of the street, maybe someone will find you and come to save me. Unfortunately my wishes never come true.
