POEM STARTER
The sky full of stars seemed dead and cold; a place once so magical now hurt to behold.
Write a rhyming poem that ends with this line.
Once Upon a Time
Once upon a time, before humans came
This planet never knew love, one cared for its flame
Upon their arrival, people admired our earth
The lush plants, endless mountains, and blue skies
The miracle of birth
The stars in the sky, that burned like our emotions
And our watch eye, seeing moon channges like metamorphosis
Thanking the moon for its light, to help in the dark
And loving how the sun was so bright, it’s setting was art
But once time had passed, so had the admiration
The beauty was now bland, and they lost their fixation
This life is only ours, no need to love the planet
And the world seemed more chilly, from the loss of this habit. The habit of love.
Who knows how it happened, maybe it’s just in our mind.
But the world once was brighter, Jupiter was easier to find
Our spirits so much more alive
And this wasted world we cannt even revive

Event thing is missing, the lush of the green
Is never even seen
Our beautiful ice burgs, that lived in cold water
Their lives so much shorter, their tips always falter
The sky full of stars seemed dead and cold;
A place once so magical now hurt to behold
