Graffiti used to mean, “So and so was here.” Now its a sign of death.

I remember when graffiti used to cover the streets. Every direction you looked and there it was. But one day, all of it went away. Every trace of graffiti was gone. There was no more for sale in stores, not even extra specs on the floors. It was as if the art never existed.

I saw graffiti today, though. For the first time in years. And it was beautiful. Maybe it is because I just havent seen it in so long, or maybe this piece genuinly was the most gorgeous design. It was a crow, with twists of flame and ribbon around it.

Seconds later, I unintentionally side stepped death itself. A huge brick that would certainly terminate my life had fallen from the roof above and landed right where I had been standing.

The graffiti that one covered a fourth of the brick wall has vanished.

It was a warning. But from who?
