THE PLAGUE: Malbon Plague
The Malbon plague is an evolved version of the Bubonic Plague that adapted itself into a more violent strain. Attacking poorer areas of Eroslevent, Malbon affects the respiratory and nerve systems to slowly kill off the host. It is very contagious, yet only to humans.
Malbon can be carried from person-to-perspn, yet like its predecessor, has the ability to transmit from rodents and pests. Symptoms of Malbon include: Coughing, nerve damage, trouble breathing, low pain tolerance, headaches, nausea, brushing, swelling, loss of feeling in limbs, and loss of vision.
Malbon affected humans most, wiping out most of the population and leaving it a desolate place. Athyes evolved to be able to withstand the plague, and eventually took over human cities and empires, transforming them into their own paradise. Humans are still alive, yet are only in small groups and are treated like vermin, either killed or eaten by the Athyes as a way of setting their social status.
