The Girl And The Tall Woman (Updated)
As I kept running deeper into the forest, I turned my back behind me to see if the guards weren’t behind me. I turned back to look for nearby bushes that I can hide in. I soon hear the sounds of guards getting closer to me, but then I hear the guards screaming.
I stopped, and turned around to see them run away through the fog. Suddenly I hear loud footsteps, which made the ground beneath me shake. I almost fell over, but I kept my balance. Out from the fog I saw a tall woman, with long black, a white dress, and pale skin.
I stood paralyzed in fear. Is going to hurt me?! I’m going get eaten?! Cursed? I was able to get a sentence out of mouth, through what bravery I had left in me.
“W-Who are you? What do you want from me?” I said, stammering.
“I came here to save you fromthose guards. If I am not mistaken you must that girl that Chester told me about, right? You escaped from the Queen.” The woman said in a calm, warm, but scary tone.
“Huh? Who is Chester?” I said confused.
The woman whistles, and a raven, with light eyes perches onto the woman’s shoulder.
“This is Chester.” She said gesturing to the raven.
“Oh! I recognize him. He was the that help me escape. I didn’t even know he had a name, or it was yours.”
“Yes, he’s my very help friend. How about you stay at my house, so you can stay low on the queen’s radar?”
“Sure! Just show me the way.”
The woman starts walking deeper into the forest, as I follow her.
