The Cavern To Hell
We all look the same in the dark, same vague features, dark eyes, and messy dark hair. Are hands are all stained with a past that led us here—though our paths very, they all lead to the same destination.
Deep, deep, down, in the clutches of Earth itself—or in the hands of something else entirely; something darker, like the sharp claws of a monster. We all ended up here. In this dark cavern, filled with the unknown. This place has the musty smell of something forgotten, and the coppery smell of blood.
My vision only lets me see the outline of those around me, maybe five, possibly more. Anyone could be hiding here in the darkness.
My head spins with the thought of what brought me here, what did I _do _to deserve this? But more importantly, what did those around me do? Am I facing killers? Or am I merely facing martyrs in disguise. Are those around me evil? Or are they just victims in the wrong lens.
I may never get the chance to know.
Whatever it is, we all did something wrong in our past to lead us here. No matter what it was, we chose to go down that road. We may have different reasons to have left the light—but it doesn’t matter.
We all look the same in the dark.
