and time spent wasted.

Those cries slowly become quieter- despite increasing in panic.

Their words given claim ownership over mine,

as they dictate what mine 'actually' meant- still ignoring my attempts of translation.

Try, try, try, try to explain. Only to fail.

Until it's too late, only then do they see what they failed to hear.

An unwillingness to understand when given the chance only results in failure to connect when it matters.
