I gaze at the waterfall in awe. The sound of the falling, rushing water was beautiful and tranquil. I hear Hazel snort from beneath be. I let my horses dark brown mane. I let out a sigh.

“Ain’t it beautiful?” I breathe.

Hazel neither softly in agreement and lifts his head to look at the waterfall.

“This is where we’re going, Haze, to find what’s beyond tomorrow.” I brush my fingers through Hazel’s mane.

I take a few more minutes to take in the gorgeous sight. I shift my gaze to the setting sunlight slipping through the dense undergrowth. Tomorrow is almost here, I can feel it. I sit up and grab the reins.

“Time to go, Haze,” I say.

Hazel neighs louder this time before we ride away from the waterfall. We ride away to tomorrow.
