Write a story which could have this as the title.

Absolutely Halfway

_The caves scream in fear_

_A haunting echo rings throughout the cavern as _

_The hole attempts to close itself before the _

__

**Man**__

_Can come any nearer _

__

_What was once a cocophony of jasmine and garnet, wind chimes rimming through halls, gracefully sweeping fingers across weeping teeth _

__

_Was now a mouth closing in on itself_

_Wonder, sonder flee while they have a chance_

__

_But still, in the ruin, the gemini oxygen lay whispers, gossip as fuel for rumour _

__

_The wind noted the younger man cornered, running in fear deeper and deeper into the cave_

__

_As the older man gave chase, rocks eroding around him and crumbling_

__

_The breeze held the note_

__

_“There was once a symphony here”_

__

_Trying to contain the memory over the _

__

**Man**__

_Screaming, belligerent _

__

_Wailing, chasing his own tail_

__

_The young man does not have time for thoughts. _

_He doesn’t have time to appreciate what once was_

_His faces curls into itself, tears streaming into the open space, _

_The oxygen chooses him today _

__

_The _

__

**Man**

_Behind him is once again_

_In the younger man’s eyes_

__

_The bringer of beauty _

_Just for its consumption_

_Even within himself _

__

_His lungs are full._

_The world feels welcomed here. _

__

_The younger man slides down a hole at the ending of the cave, reaching for a distant, natural light,_

__

_He could’ve died in that cave_

__

_But he _**_DESERVES to see the man at the peak


And until then, he will not be looking back


Until

He can write a sonnet


And the wailing stopped._**__

He wants to make it his, consume it and make it art , But it is beautiful how it is-

I don’t think art cares, or life cares what it imitates


It just wants to be, and it can die being that way too
