POEM STARTER
If wishes fell like rain, then certainly I am a storm.
Write a poem with this as the opening or closing line.
A Wish Storm
If wishes fell like rain, then certainly I am a storm
When a shooting star flys, then I begin to brainstorm
To search for a wish, to search for a want
I like to ask for things, I love to have thousands of wishes.
Though none ever come true, it’s alright
Wishes would fly, a tornado made of many glowing bright
Wishes would fall, wishes would snow
My wishes would make up a storm, made of frost and sun
Sometimes I wish for warmth, sometimes my wishes feel cold
I know my wishes make a storm, am I the only one?
Maybe the stars are tired, maybe they don’t want to be a storm
I’m sorry, I can’t let you rest
I have more I want, more I need to wish
Maybe my wants are too much
