It was a sudden and clear understanding,

This new meaning to life.

Who knew a riotous, fearsome storm,

Would bring more than a drenching?

That with the exploding drops of rain,

Within in the darkness closing in,

Under an expanding mass of clouds,

There would be a ligthening of pain.

Each puddle, emassing mud and reflection,

Should have inhited the journey ahead.

But with each overflow of water and tears,

The soul and heart were cleansed to perfection.

Not even a good bye,

Not one glance back at the past,

If the rain could clear the skies,

Then a storm in the mind could open the eyes.
