WRITING OBSTACLE
Write a micro-story, or poem, which only has sentences beginning with words of negation.
Negations are no, never, not, neither etc...
No, Not, and Never
Not for a second should you think that you
Never need nobody because it’s not true.
Nobody never needs nobody never.
(Not that we never say never, we do.)
(Not one more stanza of this little rhyme
Never touches on nobody spending his time.
No, thoughts of nobody never needing nobody
Never comes up after this line of the rhyme.)
No, not, and never are never in vogue.
Nobody’s a liar, a cheat, and a rogue.
No is in fashion to answer always.
(Nobody ever said that was in vogue.)
No, not, and never are negations, they say.
No, not, and never give nothing away.
Not, not for a penny, not for a dime.
No, not, and never negate what you say.
No, not, and never have begun each new line
No, I’m not claiming these words are divine
Never would I have thought of all these verses
Not ever would I have negations each line. So…
Never say never
Not even one time.
No, not on a dare.
No, not for a rhyme.
No, not for a prompt.
No, it was a chore.
Not that I will
Never say never no more.
