Imagine you live in a world where people could go missing at any moment, your best friend, your mom, your dad, anyone. Hey I’m Rebecca and I live in this world where people go missing every single day. Yesterday the news came on and a guy in a navy blue suit said “today, famous singer benson Boone went missing.” Benson Boone is my favorite singer… I can’t stop wondering about what happens when people go missing, like do they just vanish out of thin air? Well no one in my family has gone missing yet. I can’t imagine what it would be like if my dad, mom, or brother went missing. Well I better get to bed now it’s almost midnight! So I fall asleep and a few hours later I woke up to a bright light in my face. And when I wake up again I’m in a garage, but it’s not my garage this one is empty and dark. I’m tied up in a chair, the only light I have is the small lightbulb hanging my a rope above me. Then I look in the corner and see benson boone, He’s sleeping tho. Then a woman walks in, she says her name is ruby and that she’s gonna help me escape. So she cuts the door and I see a forest, it looks endless. Ruby tells me to run before they can get me, so I start running and I run for an hour before I see a gas station. I don’t want to go in because it looks a little sketchy, so I keep running and I start to recognize the way. I see the circle k by my neighborhood so I keep running, and then I find my neighborhood! I slide under the gate and run to my house. My family is so happy to see me.
