Why Would You Ever Get There? Like fr
I feel like I’ve been walking for hours now. Even so, I loved to take those long walks. I don’t think I ever felt more at ease with myself, it’s a level of tranquility I don’t get anywhere else. Even though I hated to deal with the aftermath of snowwy storms, the country was just lovely to be in. I recall when I first got there, the place that would eventually turn into a sacred little corner of the world that only I felt comfortable walking in. Most of the other rational people wouldn’t dare to even get close to a pit of darkness like that. After all, who knows what could be inside? But to me, either out of the need to be isolated or the self destructive thoughts that ran through my mind from time to time, it was perfect.
The beauty that I got to presence inside was like no other. Even when I had gotten used to it, the cold spikes above my head made it even better. It was a place only I could be at ease. Ever since it became my sanctuary, I wasn’t comfortable of course, but that was the whole point. It was only me and my thoughts, along with the cold scenery. Just reflection, and the motivation to not stay still.
