Your character has just escaped the City of Death. Tell the story of what happened there.
By Gluing Myself Together
Like electricity a few sparks.
The essence of life fill my body in which my spirit begins bathing in its warmth.
Through this ignition I feel the feeling of life again!
With so much energy and passion beyond my reach, I have the intentions to run and jump across the world as I rise with wobbling legs. I quickly fall to the ground, my knees rushing to the concrete and my hands to catch myself. Tiny rocks glued to the crevices of my blood risen palms. My face returns from a scrunch as my eyes only widen in amazement, a grin commencing to stretch across my face as if it an express way to the other side of the Earth.
My escape involved the gluing of my decomposition back together.
Death City doesn’t possess the same opportunities nor properties. It is a space where all deaths are witnessed containing the entrance to death. The freedom of floating around yet constant signs of invisibility.
The feeling is empty and all is known.
The great wisdom in which we are introduced to, as we are to forget the answers of death once we transition to birth. One road at a time has their ends, meeting the beginning of anew.
To agree with forgetting allows for learning and true gratitude.
Without the struggle of immense cold, how could I appreciate the warmth of the sun?
Without hunger and thirst how could I enjoy the bite of a juice filled apple?
Death city only carried the death of all things. A state that has yet to be improved and grow to a “next phase”.
I could only see the acts of decay and decomposition.
Rotten apples, broken sunken ships, only the end of what once had life or a beggining.
I’ve left the great city and at one moment in time, I will go to the city above it.
