It has been three christmases since my father left to join the military.

I grab a piece of paper, a pen, and start to write my letter to Santa.

“Dear Santa Claus, I hope everything goes well for you and the elves with this year’s Christmas.

Here is my list for what I want for Christmas.

Number One, I want a new puppy since the last one passed.

Number Two, I need a new phone since my old one is broken and slow.

Lastly and most of all, number three, I want to see my father again.”

I fold the paper in half and place it in my stocking.

I head to my bedroom and get all snuggled in my bed.

I hoped Im able to see my father again.
