but nothing hurts as much as little words turned lies'

Grey
My thoughts were only of you, blinded by your sun
but your thoughts of me I am finding none
Your secrets exposed like sharp stones washed by rain
I fall at the sight, cut, bleeding, and in pain
Clouds cover the skies, rain pulls at your eyes
But nothing hurts more than memories turned lies
Authors Note: the title of this 3 stanza couplet poem is inspired by the quote “Once you lie to me, every truth you ever told me holds less value. How am I to distinguish black from white when you have painted everything grey?” -Unknown
