"So he just…killed you?" Nekro, a ghost I met a month after I died, asks.

I nod and sigh softly.

"King Matako is definitely something." Nekro leans against the outer wall of the old rickety house.

One thing I learnt since becoming a ghost is that you can choose when to merge through things. It took me a while to get a hang of it, Nekro helped me.

"You were too young to die."

"It’s King Matako, do you think he cares?"

He makes an agreeing move. "Yeah, that’s fair."

I sigh again and look down at Alric who’s pacing back and forth in the slums. He’s debating wether or not he should ask Clementine for help against the new terrorists.

The haven’t spoken in a year.

Next month, it’ll be a whole year since I died.

Since Alric’s father killed me.
