Dancing on the stage, in front of the crowd, I smile and enchant the audience. Do a spin! I do as I am told. Do a flip! Lifted up in the air, I propel myself up into a jump. Anything to keep their attention on me.

The preformace ends, the crowd raves in applause. I take a bow as the lights shut off and the audience slowly goes to a distant whisper. I'm waiting, waiting, waiting.

The gears turn, the lights turn on again, the crowd starts up in applause once more. I take a happy bow, the world lit up in wonder at awe of me. I continue my act once more.

Watch me! Keep your eyes on me! I try to enchant the audience, and it works, their eyes are all on me. I do a twirl, but stumble, and the crowd goes deathly silent. No more applause, no more cheers. The lights started to shut off as I looked on in horror.
