“Why won’t you just listen to me!” His wife shouted.

They stood across from each other, the dim lights of their bedroom spilled gently onto the baege carpet.

“You’ve been coming home late every single night, you miss all of our dates, you forget our anniversary’s.. GOD, just tell me what’s going on what with you Nolan!” She denounced.

Nolan sighed before sitting down onto their bed, his damp jacket infecting itself onto the fresh sheets.

“I didn’t want this to be how you found out.” He scuffled.

“What do you mean? What are you even talking about? Are you cheating on me?” She continued to bark. She walked closer to him, standing right before him. She still had stains from the dinner she cooked for both of them, in which he had been late for.

The room grew quiet, the sounds of cars passing by within the dark night grew louder and louder, almost deafening.

Nolan slowly and reluctantly unzipped his jacket, carefully revealing the golden glow of the symbol on his chest, the white leather suit following behind it.
