I stopped shaking and froze to death

He held me and kept me silent,

When salvation came, they couldn’t get

Why wasn’t I reacting back?

Why trick hurt minds, make them feel safe

in your arms, then slowly turn all love you stowed into weapons?

Why say the opposite of what your silent message says?

Why hurt someone while holding hands?

Why confuse their mind and soul by treating them to death while your unspoken language says protection, not threat?

Why show hate in the way love is shown?

They’ll make a fool of you, they’ll make a victim out of the bad intended one.

They’ll make you pay for all pain, ‘cause they think that that’s how it should be done: pain is paid with more pain.

It’s all wrong, no one is ever right, not the crime nor the fight.

Stop it. It will still hurt, but make it hurt less.
