I just wanted to go for a normal walk, and now I was face-to-face with the king.

I didn't know how this happened. Truly.

He stood tall in front of me.

"Answer me." He barked. "Why did you enter my castle grounds without permission?"

"I- Uh... I didn't mean to!" I replied, stammering.

The king laughed bitterly. "Didn't mean to, huh?"

I froze, trying to dock some excuses.

He turned away from me and to the guards standing next to him. "Chain her up."

"No-!" I began to protest.

"Silence." He boomed.

Apparently I was trespassing.

I closed my eyes as the guards dragged me through.

I snapped my eyes open.

I was back on the path.

"What-?"

A twig fell, making me jump.

Was this real? Did I imagine the king?

Suddenly I was violently dragged, back into the dungeon.

"How?" I questioned myself.

Life was confusing, truly.
