It can be hard to keep balance

Navigating the winds of change

While trying to stay grounded

Knowing the pavement you’ve pounded

You know you’re a sidestep from the insane

Or am I an angel fallen

Who swapped my heavenly hellish feathers

For a simple umbrella

As I answer my calling

I don’t know if I’m human wading through life

Or something ethereal in diguise

Completing a mission from below or on High

Oh what strife

As I sip the spirits from my chalice
