The Revelation

By the quiet lake beneath the moon, (A)

A whisper Stirred the midnight air, (B)

The stars aligned, the time was soon,(A)

For the truths long buried to lay bare.(B)


A shadow moved through silver mist,(A)

It’s eyes aglow with ancient flame,(B)

It spoke of all the signs we missed,(A)

And called each broken soul by name.(B)


The trees bent low to hear the word,(A)

A secret kept since time began,(B)

And in that hush, all hearts were stirred-(A)

The fate of beast, of star, of man.(B)


It wasn’t thunder, fire, or sword, (A)

That shook the earth with trembling might, (B)

But love revealed, the final chord, (A)

That turned our blindness into sight.(B)
